由29个成员组成的“公平社区倡议特别工作组”将负责指导花钱流程,以就资金的去向提出建议。
西雅图市长在一份声明中称,持续的变革必须来自社区并由社区维持。她希望特别工作组为黑人、土著人、和有色人种社区提供投资建议。
政府官员说,现在特别工作组有29名成员,但可以扩大,增加更多的“青年”和其他社区领袖。
市政府还给这个工作组提供资源,让他们对2021年预算提案提供建议。
