East County Community Health and the Chinese Friendship Association of Portland (CFAP) are co-hosting a large-scale event for “World No Tobacco Day” on Saturday, June 3rd, from 10 am to 2 pm at the parking lot of Fubonn Shopping Center in Southeast Portland. At the same time, there will be a themed art competition showcasing the artistic talent and skills of young people. Participants are welcome!

Competition Categories: The competition is divided into three age groups: elementary school, middle school, and high school.
Artwork Categories and Requirements: The theme should revolve around “World No Tobacco Day.” Painting forms can include traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, sketching, ink painting, watercolor painting, pastel painting, colored pencil drawing, cartoon drawing, etc. The size of the artwork should be 11×14 inches.

Judging and Awards: The Oregon Artists Association will select one first, second, and third prize winner from each age group and present awards. The top eight winning artworks will be exhibited on June 3rd, 2023, during the “World No Tobacco Day” event (they will need to be collected after the event concludes). All participating artworks will be displayed on our website.
Deadline to submit: June 1st, 2023, 11:59pm. Email artwork to cfapportland@gmail.com .
Method: Please take a photo of your artwork and send it to cfapportland@gmail.com, including your name, age, grade, and contact information for evaluation. The artworks will be arranged for display at the “World No Tobacco Day”. After the exhibition ends, the artists themselves or their representatives can retrieve the artworks on the same evening.
